The Real Rajoy

I said it last year, didn't I? Somewhere a bit further down the page. In the comments to what I now realise was a hopeless and pathetically inadequate attempt to parody what Mariano Rajoy might say about the EU rescue for Spain I noted just how difficult it is to parody the man. Then today he said this, I swear I haven't changed a single word:

It's just not fair, how am I supposed to compete with this?

I could go to an isolated retreat in the fog shrouded hills of Galicia where they teach the techniques of The Master and spend the rest of my life there, but still probably find myself chasing shadows.

"Al pan, pan y al vino, vino".

(I read this in Heraldo de Aragón today, I didn't think it up by myself.)

Yeah , but in Aragon we r a bit different.....we have airports without planes, rivers with water we can,t use and politicians that don,t dare to speak in Madrid, much less run for office. Hardly and example....

Having airports without planes hardly sets you apart from the rest these days.

Sadly the South of Watford holiday budget doesn't permit 4 month holidays, otherwise I probably wouldn't be back from Chile. Fresh posts are on their way, wouldn't like to say when though.
